My role in the project was to develop the concept, conduct the shooting, and edit the video. The idea was to create a dynamic and engaging video that captured the energy of the events while showcasing the DJs.
The biggest challenge was organizing the shoot. It had to take place during a party where all the DJs were present, which meant filming between each DJ's set, finding short windows of time, and staying very responsive.
Another significant difficulty was managing the lighting, as I had to handle both filming and light adjustments on my own in a rather challenging environment. The conditions were tough, with little ambient light and rapid changes in the party's atmosphere. If I were to redo this project, I would ask for assistance with the technical aspects, particularly to better manage lighting and sound during the shoot.
The shoot took place over an entire night and was both intense and educational. This experience allowed me to refine my skills in managing fast-paced shoots and filming in difficult conditions. I am very satisfied with the final result, which reflects the energy of the event and the talent of the DJs.
